Dorothy Castille

Dorothy Castille, PhD, currently serves as the Extramural Training Coordinator and Senior Program Officer at the National Institutes of Health since 2010, overseeing a diverse grant portfolio including student loan repayment and conference grants. Simultaneously, Dorothy is a qualified coach and League Certified Instructor for the League of American Bicyclists. Prior experience includes roles as an Adjunct Associate Research Scientist at Columbia University, where work focused on qualitative and quantitative methods in health outcomes research, and as a Director at Pfizer, where efforts were directed towards developing strategies for evidentiary requirements in drug approval. Dorothy has also held research scientist positions at various organizations, overseeing projects related to mental health and community outcomes. Academic qualifications include a post-doctoral degree in Epidemiology from Columbia University and a PhD in Anthropology from the University of California, Berkeley.
