Joe Timmerman

Joe Timmerman, CISSP, has extensive experience in cybersecurity and information technology. Currently serving as Associate Director of Cybersecurity Operations at National Life Group since January 2017, Joe has also held positions as Information Security Systems Lead, Senior Information Security Engineer, and Information Security Analyst within the same organization. Prior work experience includes roles at Sugarbush Resort from June 2010 to March 2017, where Joe progressed from IT/RTP Support Specialist to IT Manager, and at Verizon Wireless as a Technical Support Coordinator. Education includes a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Information Technology with a focus on Cyber Security from Southern New Hampshire University, completed between 2012 and 2016. Academic history also includes attendance at Appalachian State University and Bentley University.
