Armaghan Abed-Elmdoust

Armaghan Abed-Elmdoust is a physical scientist at NOAA: National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration since March 2024. Prior to this role, Armaghan served as an associate research scientist at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center from April 2020 to February 2024. Armaghan also contributed to academia as an adjunct assistant professor at CUNY New York City College of Technology from February 2020 to August 2021, teaching a course on applied hydraulics. Earlier experience includes working as a hydro-scientist at Jupiter Intelligence from June 2018 to February 2020 and as a research scientist at The University of Texas at Austin from June 2016 to June 2018.
