Yuri Ovchinnikov

Yuri Ovchinnikov is a seasoned researcher with extensive experience in the field of physics and mathematics. Currently serving as a Senior Research Scientist at the National Physical Laboratory since June 2003, Yuri has also held positions as a Guest Researcher at both the University of Stuttgart from March 2000 to June 2003 and NIST from 1998 to 2000. Prior to these roles, Yuri was a Senior Research Scientist at the Institute of Spectroscopy of the Russian Academy of Sciences from 1986 to 1996. Yuri holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Physics/Mathematics from the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (State University) (MIPT), obtained between 1980 and 1986.
