Bruce Swiecicki, P.E. serves as the Vice President and Chief Technical Officer at the National Propane Gas Association since 1993. Prior to this, Bruce held positions such as Chief Technical Officer, Sr. Tech. Advisor, Vice President of Technical Services at BOCA ES from 1984 to 1993. With a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 1983 and a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Heat Transfer from University of Illinois Chicago in 1991, Bruce advocates for the propane industry in the development of building and energy model codes. Bruce works to ensure these codes are adopted and enforced by federal, state and local jurisdictions in the United States.

The National Propane Gas Association (NPGA) is the national trade association representing the U.S. propane industry.
