Mr. Jamil A. Khan was previously working in Pakistan Air Force in General Duty Pilot Branch and continued to serve in various operational, administration, and staff positions for over sixteen years. He joined National Refinery Limited in 2005 immediately after its privatization. After serving as Deputy Managing Director of the Company for more than a decade, the Board of Directors appointed him as Chief Executive Officer of the Company effective November 3, 2018. After completing his tenure of three years he has been reappointed as Company’s Chief Executive with effect from November 03, 2021. He has also served as a member of the Board of Directors as an alternate director. He is also serving on the Board of Attock Refinery Limited. He is a graduate in aero sciences and holds a degree of Masters in Business Administration (Finance) besides qualifying the Directors Training Program from Pakistan Institute of Corporate Governance (PICG).

National Refinery Limited is a Pakistan-based company, which is engaged in the manufacturing, production and sale of range of petroleum products. The Company operates through various segments, which include FUEL and LUBE. The FUEL segment is a supplier of fuel products, and offers gasoline, diesel oils and furnace oil. The LUBE segment provides various types of lube base oils, asphalt, wax free oil and other petroleum products for a range of sectors. The Company's fuel products include Motor Gasoline (MOGAS), Kerosene (SKO), High Speed diesel Oil (HSD), Light diesel oil (LDO), Furnace Oil (F.O), Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) and Naphtha (For Export). Its lube base oil products include 65N-HVI, 100N-HVI, 150N-HVI, 400N-HVI, 500N-HVI, BS-HVI, 650N-MVI, BS MVI and SPINDLE OIL. Its projects include Diesel De-sulphurization Unit and Naphtha Isomerization Project. It also produces specialty products, which include Benzene, Toluene, Xylene, Wax, Slack Wax, Rubber Process Oil and Extract Oil.
