Alexis Weisman

Alexis Weisman holds a Master of Science in Management from the University of Florida and a Bachelor's Degree in Linguistics from the same institution. Currently serving as an Immigration Analyst at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory since June 2021, Alexis provides guidance on visa classifications and collaborates with immigration attorneys to secure work authorizations. Prior experience includes roles as Assistant Director of International Scholar Services at the University of California, Santa Cruz, where responsibilities encompassed advising on non-immigrant and immigrant statuses, monitoring regulatory impacts, and leading training initiatives. At the University of Florida, Alexis served as Assistant Director of Exchange Visitor Services, overseeing J visa policy implementation and managing exchange visitor records, as well as acting as Immigration Specialist and Executive Assistant to the Executive Director within various university departments.
