Desiree Theron

Desiree Theron is an experienced professional in information technology and project management, currently serving as the ITS Client Liaison and Project Manager at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory since December 2022. Previously, Desiree held various roles at Absa Group from April 2008 to October 2022, including Information Technology Solutions Architect and Digital Architecture - Project Office Governance Manager. Desiree’s expertise encompasses business analysis, data modeling, and IT project management, underpinned by numerous certifications, including TOGAF 9.2 and a Bachelor of Information Science from Rand Afrikaans University. Desiree has a comprehensive background in managing customer requirements, ensuring adherence to governance protocols, and leading IT project initiatives within diverse organizational settings.
