Lieko Earle is a Senior Research Engineer at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL), leading field evaluation projects and community-scale energy demonstrations since September 2009. Prior experience includes serving as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Pennsylvania, where Lieko focused on astronomical observations and spectroscopy from February to August 2009. From September 1997 to December 2000, involvement with the Peace Corps included roles as a Volunteer Leader, providing support to science teachers in Tanzania, and as a Volunteer, teaching A-level Physics and supervising the Physics Department. Lieko holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics from Brown University and a Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Colorado Boulder. Education also includes early schooling at Nishimachi International School.
