Maurice Martin

Maurice Martin is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in technology and communications. Currently serving as Senior Technology Lead in Cyber-Physical Systems Security & Resilience at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory since October 2015, Martin focuses on securing the electrical grid from cyber threats and fostering research collaborations with utilities, vendors, and academics. Previously, as Program Manager at NRECA from February 2008 to September 2015, Martin managed a portfolio of technology research projects exceeding $1.3 million for rural electric cooperatives and public power districts. Earlier career experience includes serving as Director of Communications & Marketing at the Society for Technical Communication, where Martin oversaw publications and marketing for a professional association of technical writers and editors. Martin holds a Master of Science in Systems Science and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, both from Louisiana State University.
