Michael Henderek

Michael Henderek, P.E. has extensive experience in safety management and business operations across various industries. Currently serving on the Board of Directors and as a member of the Executive Committee for the National Safety Council since 2003, Henderek focuses on strategies aimed at reducing fatalities and injuries in the U.S. In addition, Henderek has been the Business Manager for the Houston International Dance Coalition's Dance Salad Festival since 1996, overseeing financial and operational support. Previously, Henderek held significant positions at Exxon Mobil Corporation, including Manager of Corporate Wide Safety Programs and President of ExxonMobil China Petroleum & Petrochemical Company, where responsibilities included global safety program oversight and business development in China. A longstanding career at Exxon Chemical involved various leadership roles in polyolefins, managing multiple manufacturing plants and overseeing business strategies. Henderek holds a BS and MS in Mechanical Engineering from Lehigh University.
