Douglas Deis

Douglas Deis currently serves as the Chief Learning Officer and Manager of the NSF Academy at the National Science Foundation, a position held since December 2008, where responsibilities include providing individual and organizational assessment and development services. In addition, Douglas has been the CEO of Human Resource Solutions since 1982. Prior roles include serving as an Organizational Psychologist and Manager of the HR Consulting Branch at the U.S. Office of Personnel Management from September 2006 to December 2008, offering consulting services across various HR and organizational development areas for all Federal agencies. Douglas began a career as a Personnel Psychologist at Hill Air Force Base from 1982 to 1994. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. and MS in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from the University of Utah, earned between 1976 and 1982.
