Anthony Paustian, PhD, serves as the Managing Partner and Chief Creative Officer at Bookpress Publishing & Media since January 2010, focusing on assisting authors and institutions with their publishing goals. As Vice President of Marketing for the National Space Society since June 2020, Anthony oversees brand development and communication strategies. With a diverse background as an author and speaker, notable works include "A Quarter Million Steps" and "Imagine!" Anthony has also held the position of Provost at Des Moines Area Community College, responsible for campus development and administration, and has taught as an Adjunct Professor at Drake University. Anthony obtained a Ph.D. in Educational Psychology from the University of Iowa, an MBA in Marketing from the Quinlan School of Business at Loyola University Chicago, and additional degrees in Design Management and Business Administration.

National Space Society
The National Space Society (NSS) is an independent, educational, grassroots, non-profit organization dedicated to the creation of a spacefaring civilization. Founded as the National Space Institute (1974) and L5 Society (1975), which merged to form NSS in 1987, NSS is widely acknowledged as the preeminent citizen's voice on space. NSS has thousands of members and over 50 chapters in the United States and around the world. The society holds an annual International Space Development Conference, engages with Congress, and also publishes Ad Astra magazine, an award-winning periodical chronicling the most important developments in space.
