Shubhendu Dutta

Shubhendu Dutta serves as the Chief Technology Officer for Indices and Data at NSE India since May 2019, previously holding the title of Vice President of Information Security and Governance, Risk, and Compliance. Prior experience includes serving as the CISO for the UIDAI project, managing information security risks for the Aadhaar initiative, and leading program management for information security at Sistema Shyam Teleservices Ltd. Dutta has a rich background at IBM, where roles included Country Lead for Service Assurance and Client Engagement Manager, alongside managing service delivery for significant IT outsourcing contracts. Early career experiences include positions at Bharti Airtel Limited and the Aditya Birla Group, with an academic foundation that includes an EFPM from the Indian Institute of Management Kashipur, an MBA from the Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur, and a B.E in Mechanical Engineering from BIT Mesra.
