Tim Dawson serves as the Deputy Secretary General of the International Federation of Journalists since June 2023, advocating for 600,000 journalists globally. With extensive experience as a journalist since 1987, Tim has contributed to various publications, including a two-decade tenure at The Sunday Times. Tim has also produced numerous acclaimed events and training sessions for the National Union of Journalists, where Tim has held multiple leadership roles. As an accomplished filmmaker, Tim has directed short films for notable organizations and is the editor of both newmodeljournalism.com and cycling-books.com. Education was pursued at the University of East Anglia, and Tim has held governance roles in educational institutions as well.
