Fiona Wilson

Fiona Wilson is an experienced professional in the fields of health and business analytics, currently serving as a Commissioner at the Earthquake Commission since March 2020 and as a Director at StratWorks since October 2013, where support is provided to businesses at various stages of growth and transformation. Wilson's prior roles include Chief Executive Officer at Webranz, where a transition to analytics services was successfully led, and Chief Information Officer at NSW Health, responsible for designing and implementing a state-wide electronic health strategy. The Natural Hazards Commission Toka Tu Ake is New Zealand’s unique response to its geological environment. NHC Toka Tū Ake provides insurance cover for damage to residential property caused by earthquakes, landslips, volcanic eruptions, hydrothermal activity and tsunamis. All New Zealanders with home and/or contents insurance automatically receive NHCover. Other key functions include: Administering the Natural Disaster Fund, facilitating and supporting research to help build understanding of natural disasters and how to mitigate damage, and implementing education initiatives using school programmes, advertising and collateral.
