John Steele is a Chartered Engineer and Fellow of the Institution of Highway Engineers with extensive experience in transportation engineering and civil design. Currently serving as Principal Engineer - Design and Advisory Services at Natural Power since May 2023, John leads a team providing technical support and engineering solutions for global renewable energy projects. Previous roles include Transportation Engineering Team Leader at North Lanarkshire Council and Roads Operations Team Leader at Stirling Council, where John managed significant road maintenance operations. Additional experience encompasses contract management at Fulton Hogan and various transportation engineering positions at Stantec and Roughan & O'Donovan, including involvement in notable projects such as the expansion of Hornby Mall and the Wanaka Sports Facility Designation. John's educational background includes a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering from University College Dublin.
