Kate Denton

Kate Denton is a highly skilled ecologist and product scientist with extensive experience in ecological research and product management. Currently employed at NatureMetrics since August 2021, Kate holds the title of Product Scientist and previously served as a Junior Product Manager. Kate's background includes a role as a Research Ecologist at the British Trust for Ornithology and significant academic achievements, including a PhD focused on the resource partitioning of bat species from the University of Greenwich. Additionally, Kate has experience as a self-employed ecologist, specializing in bats, and has worked in customer service roles earlier in the career. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Ecology, a Master of Research in Biodiversity & Conservation, and a Bachelor of Science in Biology, all from the University of Leeds.
