Ripudaman Bains

Ripudaman Bains currently serves as a school governor at Woodlands Primary School since May 2023 and has been the Chief Editor for Microbiology and Infectious Diseases at Nature Communications since February 2017, where Bains also manages the Microbiology and Infectious Diseases and Microbiology and Immunology teams. Prior experience includes roles as Senior Editor and Assistant Editor at Genome Biology within Springer Nature Group from August 2013 to February 2017. Academic qualifications comprise a PhD in Human/Medical Genetics from UCL, a Master's degree in Medical Parasitology, and a diploma in Infectious Diseases from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, alongside a Bachelor of Science in Genetics from UCL.
