Marc Edwards is a seasoned conservation professional with extensive experience in systematic conservation planning and geospatial analysis. Currently serving as a Systematic Conservation Planning Specialist at the Nature Conservancy of Canada since January 2023, Marc brings expertise in conservation planning and spatial prioritization. As the owner of Marc Edwards Consulting, Marc has contributed to Indigenous Community Based Monitoring programs using open-source tools. Previous roles include a Conservation Analyst for the Canadian BEACONs project, a Project Manager at CASFRI v5, and a Junior Conservation Analyst for the Canadian Boreal Forest Agreement.
