Andrea Murchie

Andrea Murchie is a highly skilled UX Designer and Researcher currently working at Nava, specializing in design systems for CMS and conducting user research for improving online experiences. Previously, Andrea held various positions including Designer & Strategy Advisor at The Hydrous, focusing on identifying organizational opportunities and designing educational kits on marine ecosystems, and Strategy Designer at NewDealDesign, where research and innovation opportunities were explored. With a strong background in both design and strategy, Andrea has educated others as a Lead Science Instructor at the Monterey Bay Aquarium and contributed to projects aimed at environmental restoration, such as creating artificial oyster reefs. Andrea holds an MBA in Design Strategy and an MFA in Industrial and Product Design from California College of the Arts, along with a Bachelor of Science from James Madison University.
