Soonbae Hwang

Soonbae Hwang is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in human resources and game development. Currently serving as Chief of Human Resources and Head of Talent Acquisition & Global HR at NAVER Corp since December 2020, Soonbae previously held leadership roles at NHN, where significant achievements included pioneering partnerships with Nintendo for the mobile game "Dr. Mario World" and leading the production of social casino games. Additional experience includes consulting at Bain & Company, product management at StudioEX USA, and various roles at NAVER from 2003 to 2010, focusing on HR and project management. Soonbae holds an MBA from Columbia Business School and a BBA from Seoul National University.
