Soonwon Ka

Soonwon Ka is a seasoned professional in machine learning and research, currently serving as a Tech Lead and ML Research Engineer at NAVER Corp since April 2021. In this role, Soonwon has developed expertise across the entire R&D process, contributing to the release of innovative products, including the AI script writer Cuesheet Helper and the creative writing tool CLOVA for Writing, utilizing the advanced HyperCLOVA X model. Prior to this, Soonwon worked as a Researcher Assistant and Engineer at Soundl.ly from March 2014 to April 2019. Academic credentials include a Master of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electric Engineering, both obtained from Seoul National University.
