Steve Hauber

Steve Hauber is currently serving as the Chief Risk & Compliance Officer at Navient since May 2014. Prior to that, Steve held various positions at Sallie Mae from July 2003 to April 2014, including Senior Vice President & Chief Audit Officer. Before their time at Sallie Mae, Steve worked as an Audit Manager at Ernst & Young and as an Audit Senior at Arthur Andersen LLP. Steve Hauber holds a Masters in Accounting from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where Steve also completed their Bachelors of Science in Business Administration.
