Tom Smith has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Tom began their career at Air Canada as an IT Project Leader and subsequently worked at Galileo International as a Product Manager. At Galileo International, they were responsible for marketing initiatives and provided support for software-based products. Tom then joined the Greater Toronto Airports Authority as an IT Manager, overseeing a project to transition to an integrated Oracle-based solution. Tom also served as an Instructor at Sheridan College before joining Aura Information Group as a Senior Airline Consultant. In this role, they provided consultancy services to airlines. Finally, Tom joined Navitaire as a Senior Account Manager, where they managed worldwide airline accounts, handled commercial negotiations, and resolved problems.
Tom Smith attended the University of Toronto from 1977 to 1980, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Computer Science.
