Dan Hurley, APR, is an accomplished communications and public affairs executive with extensive experience in higher education and government relations. Currently serving as Head of Communications, Public Affairs & Strategy for North America at Navitas since April 2021, Dan leads engagement with governments and stakeholders and oversees strategic communications for the University Partnerships North America Division. As Principal and Co-owner of Hurley Martin Group, Dan co-founded a consulting partnership focused on helping mission-driven organizations achieve strategic goals. Previous roles include Vice President of Advancement and External Relations at Pearson College UWC and Executive Director of University Relations at Vancouver Island University. Dan has held several governmental positions, including Chief of Staff for Ministers at Environment and Climate Change Canada and Western Economic Diversification Canada. Dan's educational background includes a Master of Journalism from Carleton University and a Bachelor of Arts in Canadian Studies and History from The University of Winnipeg.
