Wakid Marrei

Wakid Marrei, MBA, currently serves as the Chief People Officer and Group CHRO at Nawah Scientific, where a transformative 3-5 year HR strategy has been designed and implemented, alongside the establishment of a new total rewards system to improve transparency and employee satisfaction. Previously, Wakid held significant HR roles, including Regional Head of HR for the British Council, managing HR functions across five countries, and Organization Development & Change Management Head for Al Safi Danone, providing expert guidance to senior leaders. Past experiences also include Regional Talent Manager at Al-Futtaim, where a regional talent agenda was developed, and roles at MenaBev, Lafarge Titan Egypt, and the Agricultural Bank of Egypt, with a strong focus on recruitment, development, and HR systems. Wakid holds an MBA in Human Resources Management from the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport and a Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting from Cairo University.
