Bill Gunther has over 35 years of work experience, starting in 1986 with AT&T Communications as a Member of Technical Staff in Software Defined Network OSS. From 1988 to 1991, they worked as a Senior Consultant/Director in the Human Resource Systems Technology Group at Coopers & Lybrand L.L.P. and then moved to Maersk Data USA as a Manager of Workstation Development from 1991 to 1994.
From 1994 to 1997, Bill served as the Director of Development/Chief Architect in the Human Resource Systems Technology Group at Coopers & Lybrand L.L.P., where they were responsible for IT operations and development for enterprise client/server service bureau.
Bill then worked at Covansys from 1997 to 2000 as the Director of U.S. Operations Practice, handling operations, design, architectural, and maintenance responsibilities for clients in various sectors.
Bill joined Capstan Systems Inc. as the Director of Engineering/Chief Architect from 2000 to 2002, where they oversaw global development and operations for hosted supply chain optimization software.
From 2002 to 2010, Bill worked at CIBER as the Director of Delivery, responsible for all technical solutions for the Tampa & South Florida branches.
Bill then became the Vice President of Platform Development and Architecture at Verio, An NTT Communications Company from 2010 to 2015, leading the creation of a unified BSS/OSS platform.
Most recently, they have been working at CIMA Group since 2015 as the Chief Technology Officer, focusing on architecture evaluation and stability improvement for enterprise platforms.
In 2023, Bill joined Reguard as an Engineering Manager.
Bill Gunther attended Rutgers University from 1982 to 1985, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Computer Science.
