David Bendes serves as the Director of Product Management for Next Gen, Platform Services at the National Basketball Association (NBA) since October 2021, focusing on product strategy for the NBA's direct-to-consumer platform and services. Additionally, David is an Adjunct Professor of Business at Columbia Business School, teaching data analytics and data science to MBA students. As a Technology, Product, and Data Advisor and Fractional CTO for early-stage companies, David provides strategic guidance to executive teams. David also contributes as an advisor to Verifi Media, enhancing media ownership and metadata management in the music supply chain, and as a member of the New York Area Advisory Board and Digital Committee for Music Will, which promotes innovative music education. Previously, David held various leadership roles at Birchbox from 2015 to 2021, successfully enhancing data product velocity and optimizing operations. David's education includes an MBA from Columbia Business School and entrepreneurial fellowships from the University of Rochester.
