Msafiri Shayo

Msafiri Shayo, FCCA, currently serves as Vice Chairman of the ACCA Tanzania Members Network Panel since May 2024. With a substantial career at NBC Tanzania, Msafiri has held positions as Chief of Staff & Strategy and Head of Fraud & Digital Operations since January 2015. Prior experience includes a range of roles at Deloitte from September 2009 to January 2015, where Msafiri advanced from Audit Associate to Consultant in Forensics. Academic credentials include a Certificate in Directorship from The Institute of Directors Tanzania, a Future Fit Senior Banker certification from Wits Business School, and a Certified Professional Banker degree from the Tanzania Institute of Bankers. Additionally, Msafiri holds an Actuarial Science degree from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology and has completed ACCA studies at Strathmore University.
