Patali Mkorongo is an experienced network professional with a strong background in telecommunications systems, having earned a degree from the Polytechnic of Malawi from 2005 to 2008. Mkorongo has held various roles at NBS Bank since February 2015, progressing from Network Officer to Network Administrator and currently serving as Network Engineer since January 2018. Prior experience includes a position as Network Engineer at MALSWITCH from December 2010 to January 2015, where responsibilities involved configuring, installing, and supporting Cisco routers and wireless broadband networking. Additionally, Mkorongo worked briefly as a Broadcasting Monitor at MACRA in 2009.

The Bank was incorporated as a limited company on 14th March 2003 and was registered under the Banking Act 1989 on 1st March 2004. It started its commercial banking operations on 1st July 2004.
