Steven Mott

Steven Mott is a Senior Wake Transit Planner at NC Capital Area Metropolitan Planning Organization, a role held since April 2024. Previously, Steven served as Planner II for the Town of Clayton from August 2023 to April 2024 and as Transportation Planning Manager for the City of Bristol, Tennessee, managing the Bristol TN/VA Region MPO from February 2019 to September 2022. Steven's experience includes roles in community land use planning and customer service at Siemens, and positions in Johnson City, including Management Assistant and Development Services Assistant. Steven holds a Master’s Degree in Public Administration with a focus on Economic Development and Planning from East Tennessee State University and a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science from the same institution. Further educational experiences include studies at the University of Tennessee and TU Dortmund University.
