Maxime Hedou is a PhD Candidate in materials chemistry at École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL) and Haute École d'Ingénierie et d’Architecture (HEIA), with a focus on sustainable and catalytic processing. Currently serving as Head of Materials at Bloom Biorenewables Ltd since August 2020, Maxime oversees technology transfer from academia to industry and manages a team while developing new polyesters. Prior experience includes a role as an engineer trainee at Nestlé Research Center, focusing on food packaging development, and various positions in innovation and research related to biomaterials. Maxime holds engineering degrees from Grenoble INP-Pagora and Aalto University, and has actively participated in promoting biomaterials through leadership in the AP3B association.
