Lara Hörler

Lara H. is an experienced leader in stakeholder relations, social impact, and sustainability, currently serving as the Director of Stakeholder Relations, Social Impact & Sustainability at The AES Corporation since January 2021. In this role, Lara H. drives the commitment to social and environmental sustainability while fostering genuine stakeholder relationships in the development of renewable energy solutions. Previously, Lara H. held significant positions at AES Clean Energy, including Director of Stakeholder Relations & Communications and Communications Manager, contributing to strategic initiatives following the merger with sPower. Prior experience includes serving as Government Relations and Communications Manager at sPower and Community Engagement Advisor at Enbridge, where Lara H. developed innovative communication strategies and engaged stakeholders effectively. Lara H. holds a Master of Science in Communication from Northwestern University and a degree in Architecture & Urbanism from Smith College.
