Karley Hellums

Karley Hellums possesses a diverse background in human services and coaching, currently serving as a Human Services Technician at Nueces Center for Mental Health and Intellectual Disabilities since June 2023. Prior experience includes working as a Family Advocate at Nueces County Community Action Agency and training as a CPI Alternative Response Specialist with the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services. Established in 1969, the Nueces Center for Mental Health and Intellectual Disabilities (formerly known as BHCNC) is dedicated to helping the residents of Nueces County living with mental illness and/or intellectual and developmental disabilities. Each year the center serves over 11,600 people with psychiatric outpatient services, counseling, training, job searches, and support.
