Brenda Nelson has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Brenda started their career at Allied Insurance as a Claims Representative in 1997 and worked there until 2001. Brenda then joined Sedgwick CMS as a Claims Representative and worked there for two years. In 2003, Brenda started working at NCMIC as a Sr. Claims Representative and held this position for 16 years until 2019. Following that, they became a Compliance Advisor at NCMIC for a brief period from 2019 to 2020. Brenda then advanced to the role of Senior Compliance Consultant - Team Lead in Product Development at NCMIC, providing regulatory guidance to business unit leaders, leading teams in developing new products, and researching regulatory changes in the finance and insurance industry. Currently, Brenda serves as Director of Compliance at NCMIC, with their tenure starting in December of 2022.
Brenda Nelson obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Management from Simpson College, where they studied from 1998 to 2002.
