Niall Walsh has a diverse range of work experience spanning over 15 years. Niall began their career as an EHS Assistant at Gerard Laboratories Mylan, where they supported the EHS Manager in various safety functions. Niall then worked as an Environmental Health and Safety Officer at Royal BAM Group nv, where they were part of a team responsible for the N25 Waterford Bypass and Suspension Bridge construction project. Following this, Niall became an Environmental Health and Safety Officer at P. Elliott & Co. Ltd, where they implemented safety management systems for various construction projects. Niall then joined Rangeland Foods Ltd as a Health and Safety Consultant, reviewing and updating their Safety Management System. Niall later became a Production Team-Leader, responsible for improving production efficiencies and ensuring procedural compliance. Niall also worked as a Compliance Manager and General Manager at Monford Group. Their most recent role was at NDT Global, where they held various positions, including Vice President of HSEQ and Vice President of Business Services, overseeing strategic management of departments such as HSEQ, Software, and Business Intelligence.
Niall Walsh has a Master's degree in Human Resource Management (1:1 degree) from Dublin City University. Niall also has a Bachelor of Science (Hons) degree in Occupational Safety and Health (2:1 degree) from the Institute of Technology, Sligo. Additionally, they hold a Specialist Diploma in Quality Management/Six Sigma (2:1 degree) from the University of Limerick.
In terms of certifications, Niall Walsh has obtained the ICAM Lead Accident Investigation certification from Safety Wise in April 2018. Niall also holds the Federal Safety Accreditation (FSC) from the Office of the Federal Safety Commission, obtained in July 2017. Niall is certified as an Occupational First Aider by St. John's Ambulance Australia, obtained in November 2015. Niall also has a certification in Radiological Protection from the Radiological Protection Institute of Ireland (RPII). Niall has completed training in Internal Quality Auditing for Pharmaceutical Companies from SQT Training Ltd. Niall has also obtained the Main Roads WA Road & Bridge Accreditation from Main Roads Western Australia.
