Marius Jigmond

Marius Jigmond is a seasoned geospatial professional with extensive experience in various roles across multiple companies since 2007. Currently serving as a Geospatial Data Pipeline Engineer at Near Space Labs since May 2025, Marius previously worked as a Geospatial Data & Software Engineer at Arturo and as a Geospatial Data Scientist at Gro Intelligence. Other notable roles include Modeling Solutions Engineer at RMS and GIS Specialist at the Texas Water Development Board, where responsibilities encompassed groundwater availability modeling and GIS support. Marius also has freelancing experience as a GIS Analyst and worked in various capacities in the GIS domain, including GIS Consultant at Windrose Geospatial and GIS Technician at Carto - Remote Sensing. Marius holds a BS in Geographic Information Science from Texas State University after attending Technical University of Cluj-Napoca.
