Joseph Homan

Joseph Homan serves as the NASTD President since August 2023 and has been with the State of Nebraska since December 1997, currently holding the position of Site Support IT Manager in the Office of the CIO, where oversight includes a 65-member team supporting computer systems for over 20 state agencies. Previously, Joseph managed a 50-member IT team and held the role of NASTD Midwest President from August 2019 to August 2021, facilitating collaboration among states in the region. Earlier experience includes serving as a Network Administrator at Alliant Cellular and as a Law Enforcement Operations Assistant in the United States Air Force. Joseph holds an associate degree in Criminal Justice from the Community College of Chicago and completed the IT Leadership Academy at AIM Institute in 2012.
