James also gained experience at Alstom Power as a GT Commissioning Engineer in 2001 and at Willamette Industries as part of their Plant Manager training program in 2000.
James'searly career includes roles in the U.S. Coast Guard, where they served from 1995 to 2000. James held positions such as Cutter Maintenance Division Chief and Port Engineer Division Chief, managing maintenance support for Coast Guard Cutters and coordinating government contracts.
