Jeffrey Bartman has extensive work experience in the field of automation engineering. Jeffrey is currently working as a Principal Automation Engineer at NECI since March 2020. Prior to this, they held the role of Lead Automation Engineer at AIV Solutions from August 2018 to March 2020, where they served as the area lead for a large green-field vaccine project and also managed the local office.
Before AIV Solutions, Jeffrey worked as a Lead Automation Engineer at Bristol-Myers Squibb from April 2015 to August 2018. Jeffrey has also worked as a Senior Automation Engineer at Genzyme from September 2012 to April 2015, where they supported automation for the manufacturing of enzyme replacement therapies and led the automation development and design for a downstream purification expansion project.
Prior to Genzyme, Jeffrey worked at AIV Solutions as a Senior Automation Engineer from July 2009 to September 2012. Jeffrey has also worked at PROCONEX as a Systems Engineer from December 2002 to July 2009, where they worked on automation projects in batch chemical and pharmaceutical/biotechnology sectors.
Before PROCONEX, Jeffrey worked at Automation Applications Inc. as a Control Systems Engineer from April 1998 to December 2002. Jeffrey gained experience working on automation projects in various industries such as pulp and paper, oil and gas, petrochemical, chemical, pharmaceutical, food, and beverage, and building automation.
Jeffrey started their career as a Controls Engineer at TAVA Technologies from July 1997 to April 1998. Overall, they have a diverse professional experience in automation engineering, working with technologies such as Emerson DeltaV, Allen-Bradley PLC, Honeywell TDC3000 and Plantscape, Moore APACS, Wonderware, GE PLC, Texas Instruments PLC, and OSI PI.
Jeffrey Bartman received their high school diploma from Middletown High School in 1992. Jeffrey then attended Drexel University from 1992 to 1997, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering. In addition, they obtained a certification in Agile Project Management Foundations from Lynda.com in December 2017.
