Prof. Dr. Bilal Zahid

Prof. Dr. Bilal Zahid serves as the Chairperson of the Textile Engineering Department at NED University of Engineering & Technology since August 2024 and holds the position of Director General of NED Academy since October 2016. With a career at NED University stretching back to November 2006, Prof. Bilal has progressed through various academic roles, including Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, and Co-Chairperson of the Textile Engineering Department. Prior to their academic tenure, Prof. Bilal accumulated extensive experience in the textile industry, holding managerial positions at several denim units, including Production Manager and Operations Manager. Prof. Bilal completed a PhD in Textile Science & Technology at The University of Manchester and has multiple degrees in Textile Engineering and Management from institutions in Pakistan.
