Olaf van Zandwijk

Olaf van Zandwijk has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Olaf started their career as a President at E.T.S.V. Scintilla in 2001 and later worked as a Research and Development Intern at CPA Wernher von Braun. In 2006, they served as a System Administrator at Medimate and also worked as a Web Developer for the IEEE Robotics and Automation Society. In 2008, they joined MOvE as a Software Engineer, contributing to the development of an online application for artists. From 2010 to 2012, they worked as a DevOps Engineer at Nedap before transitioning into roles such as DevOps Team Lead, Head of DevOps, and Information Security Officer. Olaf'slatest position is as the Head of Security & Infrastructure at Nedap Healthcare, a manufacturer of intelligent technological solutions. In addition to their professional career, Olaf has also worked as an SSI Dive Control Specialist and PADI Divemaster at DiveWorld from 2011 to 2018. Overall, Olaf van Zandwijk has gained extensive experience in software engineering, web development, system administration, and leadership roles.

Olaf van Zandwijk has a diverse education history. Olaf attended the University of Twente, where they pursued a degree in Electrical Engineering starting in 1999. In 2004, they obtained a Minor degree in Knowledge transfer in business- and educational environments from the same university. Additionally, in 2004, they became certified as a Divemaster by PADI Europe. Olaf also received training as an Emergency responder, CPR, BLS, First Aid, and AED from Emergency First Response, Corp in 2003. In terms of non-academic certifications, they obtained various qualifications such as becoming a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) in 2013, a Dive Control Specialist and Century 100 Instructor from Scuba Schools International in 2011 and 2013 respectively. Olaf also obtained certifications in the field of Scuba diving and maritime activities.
