Austin Meek started their work experience in 2015 as the Chief Cookie Monster at Pokey O's Waco, a mobile dessert truck business. In 2016, they became the voice for Waco Business News, hosting a radio show/podcast called "Downtown Depot" where they interviewed entrepreneurs, civic leaders, and engaged citizens. In 2020, Austin joined Neighborly as the Broker Relationship Specialist, collaborating with franchise brokers and expediting clients' movement through the vetting process. Austin then became the Broker Relationship Manager, managing the broker relations team and establishing Neighborly as a lucrative partner for franchise brokers. Currently, Austin is the Director of Franchise Development for Precision Door Service, helping candidates explore business ownership in garage door repair/installation.
Austin Meek earned a Bachelor's degree in Creative Writing from Texas A&M University from 2008 to 2012.
