Matthew Beaton is an experienced architect and planner with a robust background in residential and mixed-use building design. Currently serving as an Associate at Nelsen Partners, a position held since June 2015, Matthew focuses on the design and production of both affordable and market-rate housing. Prior experience includes a role as Associate Project Architect at Harley Ellis Devereaux from May 2007 to May 2015, where Matthew contributed to various projects including senior and affordable housing, while emphasizing energy-efficient building practices. Earlier career experience includes working as an Intern Architect at Foster Dale Architects, and as a Planner at Good Fulton Farrell, where Matthew developed master plans for civic and commercial developments. Matthew holds a Master of Architecture degree from the University of Illinois Chicago and a Bachelor of Environmental Design in Architecture, Planning from Texas A&M University.

The firm, led by thirteen partners and associates, provides its services from offices in Austin and Phoenix. We are a practice consisting of experienced professionals, inspired by the enthusiasm of talented young architects who keep our ideas fresh and expand our vision.
