About the Role

Nelson is seeking a dynamic Sales Associate to join our education technology sales team. Reporting to the VP of Sales, you'll engage in B2B outreach, promoting educational resources to schools within a designated territory. Responsibilities include supporting the sales team with technology tools, developing new accounts, and assisting with quote processing, event planning, email campaigns, contact management, and reporting.

We seek a highly organized candidate with strong communication skills, able to thrive in a fast-paced environment, and experienced with sales technologies like Salesforce and NetSuite. This entry-level role offers diverse opportunities for growth within the sales team.

Key Accountabilities

  • Build and maintain strong business relationships with new and existing customers.
  • Execute targeted sales campaigns to generate leads from new accounts.
  • Actively participate in sales strategy and planning, with direct responsibility for sales growth in specific accounts.
  • Collaborate closely with the sales team, providing administrative support and assisting with tasks such as data entry and report compilation.
  • Provide real-time customer support and assist with order processing.
  • Work cross-functionally with Nelson teams to enhance sales programs.
  • Utilize tools like Salesforce CRM, SharePoint, and NetSuite to manage tasks and communicate with stakeholders effectively.
  • Conduct data analysis, manage revenue-generating resources, and handle customer inquiries.
  • Manage activities including outbound calls, emails, and sales demonstrations to prospective customers.
  • Assist with reporting and preparing sales-related presentations.
