Abbey Ramdeo

Abbey Ramdeo is a dedicated education professional with extensive experience in program management and teaching, currently serving as National Program Manager and Educator Professional Learning at Actua since October 2020. Abbey's work emphasizes equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) within STEM education, having advanced national initiatives that reached 400 educators. Abbey's previous roles include serving as an Education Specialist at Nelson, where feedback on STEM resources is provided through a culturally responsive lens, and as a high school teacher at the Toronto District School Board. Abbey's previous positions at the University of Toronto involved coordinating STEM outreach programs and developing digital learning experiences during the pandemic. Abbey holds a Master’s Degree in Intermediate/Senior Education and a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Biology from the University of Toronto.
