Doug Macchia currently serves as the Plant Maintenance and Facilities Manager at NEMERA, responsible for overseeing the IMM/Automation Maintenance, Facilities, and Toolroom departments to align with global company standards. Prior to this role, Doug worked as the Manager of Engineering and Maintenance at Denali Ingredients, leading engineering and maintenance functions within a two-site FDA regulated manufacturing operation. Doug also played a pivotal role as the Plant Engineering Manager at Niagara Bottling, contributing to the successful startup of a state-of-the-art bottled water production facility and earning multiple manufacturing excellence awards. Earlier experience includes positions at Machine Tool Technologies, Inc. as Service Manager, and at Rehrig Pacific Company where Doug held various roles including Plant Manager and Engineering Manager, managing operations and capital projects across multiple facilities. Doug holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
