Dr Ankur Khant

Dr Ankur Khant is an accomplished professional in the field of research and development, currently serving as the Assistant General Manager and Senior Manager of R&D at Neogen Chemicals Limited since April 2018, where the focus is on leading the CRAMS business with an emphasis on innovation in established technology. Prior experience includes a role as Manager R&D at Sajjan India Ltd. from August 2010 to March 2018, overseeing a team of four scientists and executing process scale-up from gram to kilogram scale. Earlier in the career, Dr Khant was a Senior Research Scientist at PI Industries Ltd from September 2003 to August 2010, responsible for lab trials and data management. Dr Khant obtained a Ph.D. from Mohanlal Sukhadia University in 2012, specializing in the use of transition metal pyrophosphates as photocatalysts. Education also includes completion of the 10th grade at Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel High School in Jamjodhpur.
