Fernando Lopez-Diaz

Fernando Lopez-Diaz is an accomplished scientist and leader in the field of clinical genomics and cancer research, currently serving as Director of Clinical Science and R&D at NeoGenomics Laboratories since January 2020. Fernando has extensive experience in the academic and research sectors, participating in the Molecular Tumor Board at UC San Diego Health and founding the first clinical genomics-based cancer care center in Argentina through CEPIMP Genomics. As an adjunct professor at Universidad Francisco de Vitoria, Fernando taught advanced therapies, while previous positions at Genoptix and Salk Institute for Biological Studies contributed to a robust background in molecular genetics and precision oncology. Fernando holds a PhD in Chemical Sciences from Universidad Nacional de Córdoba and a Project Management Certificate from Universidad Tecnológica Nacional.
